( GUIDE )
WEBSITE OR APP:
WHICH DO YOU NEED?
We build both — so we've got no reason to push you toward the wrong one. Here's the honest way to decide which your business actually needs first.
Start with a website if…
For the vast majority of businesses, a website is the right first move.
- You need to be found on Google and look credible.
- You sell products or services and want enquiries or online orders.
- You want something every customer can open instantly — no download required.
- You want the most reach for the least cost.
Build an app if…
Apps make sense when the experience is ongoing and personal, not a one-time visit.
- Customers use you repeatedly and want it on their home screen (loyalty, bookings, accounts).
- You need phone features — push notifications, offline use, camera, location.
- The app itself is the product or a core part of the service.
The honest truth
Most businesses should start with a strong website, and add an app later once there's a real, repeated use for it. An app with no audience is expensive shelfware. We'll always tell you which one moves your business forward — even if it's the smaller project.
( QUESTIONS )
Can't a website do what an app does?+
Increasingly, yes — modern websites can be installed to a phone and send notifications. We often build a great mobile website first, then an app only when it's justified.
Do you build both?+
Yes — websites, web apps and native mobile apps for iOS and Android. So our advice isn't biased toward one.
Which is cheaper?+
A website, almost always — and faster to launch. An app is a bigger build. We'll quote both clearly if you're weighing them.
